Joint Statement from NATA President/ School Committee Chair
It is with great pleasure that we announce that the North Andover School Committee and the North Andover Teachers Association (NATA) reached a tentative agreement last night (November 7th) during mediation with the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations.Through ongoing dialog and collaboration, we achieved a mutually beneficial agreement to ensure the highest quality of education for our students and provide a nurturing environment for their growth and success.
We are grateful to the NATA leadership and the NATA contract action team, the NA School Committee and the School Committee negotiation subcommittee members, Superintendent Gilligan, Deputy Superintendent Mealey and their Administrative Team, Town Manager Melissa Rodrigues and her Administrative Team, for all their support and hard work during the process.
